If there was one way in which we could replace that one day in the week with something better, we would probably rename Monday as Sunday Part 2. At least that sounds better, right? We have been told that if you love your work, you should be looking forward to your Mondays. But I really doubt how many of us actually do that. Love work or not, Monday mo(u)rnings are bad, let's say. So we came across a list of things that successful people do on their Monday mornings and thought it wouldn't be bad to give it a try. It worked for us: at least we don't want to rename Monday any more. You should do these too!
Get Up Early

Early to bed on a weekend might be a myth, with all the party-hosting/hopping at night, but we suggest keep your Sunday nights easy and get up early on Monday morning. Science proves that if you start your day early, you have much more time to accomplish a lot of things throughout the day. You could have a rejuvenating shower, or a brilliant hour of workout or reach office early and start your day soon to finish it soon too.
Hit The Gym
Or just go for a run. Or take a swim. Do some physical activity and it will keep you active through the day. Working out early in the morning sets the tone not just for the day, but also for the entire week that follows. It will clear your head and the endorphin rush will make a cheerful person. It is very important to wear a smile on a Monday morning.
Make Use Of Your Commute
The idea of over an hour of commute in the metro train or the local train can give you nightmares. But what you can't avoid is what you can turn to your advantage. Listen to soothing music that build your mood for the day, read a book that motivates you to deliver your best or use that time to check emails quickly. It's one of those 'Me times' that you get; use it.
Tackle Emails First Thing
As important as it is to organise your work station, it is equally important to manage your inbox. Most of us don't pay much heed to official mails during the weekend, and hence, it is possible that important mails can get lost in that pile. Get in there early on a Monday morning, respond to important ones, and clear out the unnecessary ones.
Plan Your Week
If you want to be successful, you can't be just anyone and do what every one else does. You know you are going to have a busy week? Plan your week instead of taking each day as it comes. Fix your meeting, book the important appointments and schedule all things according to convenience and importance. That way, you can accomplish a lot and at the same time, have a great week.
