We would like to start with a disclaimer: We drink. We like drinking. We know that alcohol is good for your heart (Of course, in limited amounts). But we also know that alcohol makes us fat. It's not just the components in alcohol or the accompanying components that make us gain weight, but also the effects, the after-effects and after after-effects that ruin it all for us. Let's take a look at the truth-it hurts!
Alcohol = No Exercise
Need we elucidate more on this? Whether its one pint or three pitchers of ale, exercising with a hangover is never fun. Let's say, it's not possible. The damage is far bigger than just this. Studies also show that alcohol decreases athletic performance because it impairs the metabolic processes as well as affects energy supply during exercise.
Supporting Character = Bad Calories
The coke that you add to your rum comes with extra calories, extra sugar and not to mention, all things bad for your health. How about the cheesy French Fries to go along with the alcohol, and the cold pizza and fried eggs next morning to beat hangover? Nothing helps weight loss here.
More Or Less, It's Always More
We couldn't keep any of our fellows from "keeping a check", so we can't tell you how do you do that. Too much happiness? Says cheers! Drowning in agony? Say cheers! Whatever might be the reason, or let's say for no reason, one doesn't usually drink less alcohol. And more alcohol means nurturing that beer belly of yours.
Tips To Take It Easy
We won't be mean by only pointing out the problems. We have the solution too. No, it's not alcohol (obviously!). Don't go to every party. Prioritise and learn to say no. While drinking, stick to club soda or water instead of gin and tonic, or those sweetened beverages. Don't chug; make your drink last. Lastly, drink water in between alcoholic drinks to be less dehydrated, which means a reduced hangover.
