Winds of change are clearly felt in Tollywood. Big star flicks with big budget and all that hoopla have been rejected outright by the audience. On the other hand, small films with strong content are being embraced. Success of Kshanam and Bichagadu are the proof of it. Now, another film joins the bandwagon. Ardhanari is the film that released on Friday.
Surprisingly, the film has turned a huge success. The film with no big names attached is creating buzz all over. Ardhanari, a film with social message is receiving applause from audience and critics. Arjun Yajath and Mouryani played lead roles in the film directed by Bhanushankar Chowdary who directed Raju Maharaju and Saradaga Ammayitho earlier. Ardhanari is made at Rs 3 crores and is estimated to rake over 15 crores. Reportedly, other industry filmmakers are queueing up for the remake rights of the film.
