Just when news of a TV serial based on the life of self-styled god woman Radhe Maa aka Sukhwinder Kaur has been doing the rounds, another Kolkata-based producer claimed that he was making a film on Radhe Maa and has approached Radhe Maa's main opponent Arshi Khan to play a role in the film. Film maker Hemant Nitin Das claimed that he will start shooting for the controversial film in October this year. It is not sure if Das plans to approach Radhe Maa herself for the film, but claims that the film is an accurate representation of
Film makers and TV producers are of the opinion that given Radhe Maa's controversial background and fan following a show on her life would attract a lot of attention. I am no different and I am all set to go ahead with my film, Nitin Das said. Meanwhile, Arshi Khan stated that she has decided to organise a dharna both at the Wagah Border as well as at the Pakistan Embassy in New Delhi to protest against what she termed as "disgusting treatment meted out to a star cricketer who has made Pakistan proud on several occasions on an international platform".
Khan who had earlier threatened to strip outside the Pakistan Embassy later on retracted her statement and she she would protest but not in a vulgar way. Two days ago, the controversial model showed the Pakistan Cricket Board her middle finger in an exclusive self-shot video.
Apparently pissed off with the news that the PCB has denied former Pakistani captain Shahid Afridi a face-saving chance to retire gracefully, Arshi Khan told the PCB members to 'f*uck off' in her video. The self-shot video of Arshi Khan can be found here:
Speaking to an Indian website Arshi Khan said, "Afridi is still young and fit as a fiddle. He is still in form and must be given a chance to play again in all forms of cricket. It will be a great loss for Pakistan if Afridi is shunted out at this stage." When asked how could she judge if Afridi is fit and in form, she quipped, "who else knows about Afridi's stamina and prowess better than me."
Making her displeasure felt in no uncertain terms, Arshi Khan told Indian news portal IndiaNewsNetwork.IN that she will vociferously protest against the decision of the PCB by organizing a nude dharna outside the Pakistan embassy in Delhi if the PCB does not revoke its decision within three weeks.
Arshi Khan also strongly criticized Raj Thackeray after his political outfit the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) on Friday gave a 48-hour ultimatum to all Pakistani cine and television artistes in Mumbai to quit India or face consequences. "He and his MNS goons must go to the border and guard the border and prevent infiltration by terrorists from Pakistan and PoK instead of threatening people who have come to Mumbai with valid visas issued by the Indian Embassy in Pakistan."
