Ram Charan assures official announcement of Chiranjeevi 150th Movie will be on or before Dussehra and principal shooting begins by Sankranthi at any cost.
When quizzed about Ram Gopal Varma objecting the idea of remake of Tamil film for Chiru's 150th Movie, Ram Charan responded: "Firstly, There is no confirmation yet whether we are remaking that so called Tamil film. Even if we wish to do so, There is nothing wrong in it..It's also a film! Some of the biggest blockbusters in Hindi, Telugu & Tamil are remakes. For example, Gabbar Singh-Dabangg, Shankar Dada MBBS-Munnabhai MBBS and Pokiri-Wanted. Nothing wrong in sharing Cinema and wishing that even our audience have to watch a good movie even though if its a remake. All big heroes have done remakes and even my next flick is a remake of 'Thani Oruvan'."
On the question 'Preferring Remakes due to Lack of Original Subjects in TFI?', Mega Powerstar shot back: "This question would have been valid if I have done only remakes since the beginning of my career".When asked how could he justify Chiru's 150th being a Remake, Charan said: "Though we take the number '150' so seriously, At the end of the day its just a number. Dad's Film should have a message and entertainment we expect from him. When we come to a judgement that a particular subject would be perfect, then why not? Once stepping into the theatre, Audience don't bother if its a remake or not and they just come to watch a good movie".
