Chinababu, the producer of Colors Swathi starrer Tripura, is a native of Narsapuram in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. He reached Hyderabad in the year 1993 to earn for a living and joined Golconda Hotel as a housekeeping boy.
One fine day, Chinababu was asked to take care of the room allotted for Real Estate baron Srimitra Chowdhary. Impressed with his sincerity, Mr. Chowdary offered him the job as his Driver and he worked here for 5 years. Later, He worked as Production Assistant for TV Serial Santosham starring Nagababu and his work ethic impressed the Mega Brother. A project to shoot all the big pandals in Hyderabad came Chinababu's way and he successfully handled it by offering 10 cameras to 50 people he hired.
Nagababu recommended the name of Chinababu to Zee Telugu CEO and its then he learnt how Satellite Business work. Chinababu made some money by buying and selling Satellite Rights of films. Then, He dubbed three Tamil films into Telugu and earned decent profits. After deciding to produce Telugu films, Chinababu approached 'Geethanjali' Director Raja Kiran and that's how 'Tripura' happened. The horror-comedy made with a budget of Rs 6 crore earned table profits and attained a massive release on November 6th.
