The Central Board of Film Certification released a list of words and references that it wanted banned from films. Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) chairman Pahlaj Nihalani issued a notice to the Producers' Association and Regional Officers which consists of are objectionable and abusive, and worthy of being deleted from films.
The list also mentions that there should be no "double meaning words'' to be included in the films.The Board's diktat lists 15 Hindi cuss words and 13 in English and applies to regional cinema as well.The decision of censor board not goes well with Bollywood makers and few people from Hindi industry are planning to take this to the notice of I&B ministry.
Objecting to the list of words 'not to be used in film' issued by Mr. Nihalani, filmmakers called it as “against the freedom and creative liberty of a filmmaker.'' The list also includes the notification to change the name Bombay to Mumbai as per the Government of Maharashtra notification in the year 1996
