17th April 2015 is the 'rumoured' date Tollywood is expected to witness the biggest magnum opus ever seen on its silver screen. That's the tentative release date for talented filmmaker Rajamouli's Baahubali featuring an ensemble of stars like Prabhas, Rana, Anushka, Ramya Krishna, Tamannah and Nasar in the leads. So what's happening inside Baahubali camp to meet this supposed date?
As we know that art-director Sabu Cyril has come up with a 100 feet statue 'set' at Ramoji Film City, Rajamouli and his crew are busy wrapping scenes at that spot. We hear that our director has set a deadline of December to wrap the shooting of Baahubal's first part. This fantasy flick set in the age of kings is likely to be released as two parts.
Though 2015 summer is quite far, Rajamouli wants to give ample time for visual effects and CGI teams to comeup with spine chilling outputs. For that he needs to conclude the shoot at the earliest and handover the final-edit footage to VFX teams. For the same reasons, Baahubali is on a shooting marathon with no breaks.
