Kamal Haasan's dream project Viswaroopam which faced controversy during its release was a runaway hit in Telugu and Tamil. The actor had planned to release sequel for the film in few months after release of the first part. However, this movie got delayed for long time. Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan did several projects like Uthama Villain, Cheekati Rajyam and is presently working for his directorial movie Sabhash Naidu which will also have his daughter Shruti Haasan in crucial role.
It is heard that, Kamal Haasan has deliberately delayed Viswaroopam 2. As per reports, Kamal tried to acquire rights of the sequel from its original producer Aascar Ravichandran who declined the proposal every time. Finally, a representative of the production house has recently approached Kamal Haasan and told him that they are ready to release the film by the end of this year.
Kamal, who is currently in USA for the shoot of Sabhash Naidu has told them to discuss the rest of the things in detail after his arrival to India in September.Seems like, the wait for Viswaroopam 2 theatrical outing ends this year. The film directed by Kaml himself will hit the screens for Diwali. On the other hand, Kamal is planning to release Sabhash Naidu on December 1st. So, if all goes well, Kamal will have two more releases this year.
