After a promising debut in Tamil, Salony Luthra is quite excited about making her presence felt in Tollywood. Her debut film in Tamil, Sarabham, in which she was paired up with Naveen Chandra, will soon be dubbed in Telugu. "The response in Tamil was encouraging and I got positive feedback for my performance. It feels great when people, whom I have never met, have good things to say ," Salony says. Ask her about the experience of acting in the film and the actress reveals, "It's a gripping thriller and my character has lots of shades. It's a wonderful role for a debut film. The way director, Arun Mohan, moulded my role with all the emotional upheavals was quite interesting. I don't want to give away too much of the plot, but I'm confident that it'll be a different experience for the audience in Telugu as well."
Born and brought up in Mumbai, the actress graduated from a London University in International Business. However, fate had other plans for her. "I spent a lot of time in Delhi where I dabbled in theatre. That experience sort of groomed me as an actor and I acted in several stage and street plays. Finally, when I decided to give auditions in Mumbai, I got an offer to act in Sarabham. I love the the idea of living different lives in each film. I think that's what makes this profession so exciting," she confesses. Meanwhile, Salony is reportedly in talks with few filmmakers in Telugu, who were impressed with her performance in her debut film. "I love the flair and the larger than life aspect of South Indian films. And I'm a big fan of Mahesh Babu. I think he has a great screen presence," she signs off
