After Kalabhavan Mani Mollywood has lost another promising actor. Actor Jishnu Raghavan died today morning at Amrita Hospital in Kochi after his prolonged battle with cancer. He was just 35 years old.
Jishnu is son of veteran malayalam actor Raghavan and he began his career as a child artiste in the Malayalam movie Kilipattu in 1987.
Jishnu made his debut as a lead actor with super hit movie "Nammal" in 2002. Since then he has acted in more than 20 films and is known for his performances in "Nerariyan CBI," "Pauran," "Ordinary," "Ustad Hotel," among others.
He was undergoing treatment for quite some time now. Jishnu was identifed with deadly decease in 2014 and recovered after treatment. But a diagnosis soon found another malignant tumour in April 2015. The actor was very active on social media and is also known for his inspiring Facebook posts.
Many malayalam film celebrities, including Mammootty, Kunchacko Boban, salman and others have offered condolences on the actor's death.
