Whether it's heading off to exotic beach destinations, checking out adventure hot spots or catching up on family time, mana Tollywood celebs are all looking forward to have a blast this yearend. But those who are tied up with shooting are also going to usher in the New Year in style.
No Plans: Rakul Preet Singh
I'll most probably be working. Last year, I was in Ahmedabad to promote my film and the year before that, I was shooting in Sikkim. Being an army kid, my childhood memories for New Year are all of the parties at the army club. Inspite of the cold weather, all the kids would come wearing short clothes and this continued till I graduated in Delhi. The best part was when the clock struck 12 the lights would go off for 30 secs and we'd all wish each other.
Will be shooting for a song: Taapsee
I've no plans to travel this year end as I'm shooting for the last song in my upcoming film Muni 3. Last year, I went on a trip to Europe. It was freezing but was heavenly. That's the only new year vacation I've had in recent few years, otherwise, I have always been working on every other New Year's Eve.
Family time in Goa or Delhi: Raashi Khanna
New Year is a family affair for me. We are a close knit family. No matter which corner of the country we are in, we all congregate in a city and play cricket, antakshari, chit-chat and eat. It's like a different party altogether with some 50 of us hanging out with each other. This year, we are going to be either in Goa or Delhi. In the last few years, we have been to Chandigarh, Dalhousie, Chamba and Mussorie.
Will be shooting: Regina
Unfortunately, I'll be shooting for my film for New Year's eve, so I didn't make any travel plans. And if we end up shooting on that day, we will most likely have a costume party on the sets.
Party in Mumbai: Pooja Hegde
My new year plans always happen at the last moment and I'm clueless about what I'm going to do this time. Last year, I was in Thailand. I might be busy with preparation for my Hindi film, I don't think I'll have a chance to travel. I'll definitely party in Mumbai. My most fondest memory is of watching the fireworks with my family.
I am grounded: Lavanya
I'm going to be grounded, shooting in Hyderabad on the December 31. I normally like spending time with my family, but it's difficult with my professional commitments. Last year, we had a house party in Mumbai. But the most memorable trip was back in 2011 when I went to Goa, along with my friends to attend a music festival. It so crowded and we ended up partying in a beach side shack.
Staying put in Hyderabad: Vishnu Manchu
I'll be staying put in Hyderabad because I'm shooting. New Year celebrations eve is usually a family affair at our home. I like to usher in the new year by taking blessings from my parents all the time. Even if we travel abroad, it's usually with the entire family. The only exception in recent years was in the last week of 2011 when I went to New York to be with my newborn twins, Ari, Vivi and my wife.
Will watch fireworks in Mumbai: Adah
I'm shooting this year, but I don't know if I'll be in Hyderabad or Mumbai. If I'm in Mumbai, I will go up to my terrace and watch the fireworks. And if I'm in Hyderabad, then I will probably sit in my room and watch TV.
