John Abraham revealed today that he is fine and recuperating in hospital post a knee surgery that he underwent last week. The actor is advised bed rest after he injured himself on the sets of Abhinay Deo's Force 2.
The actor was on a 50-day shoot in Budapest for the film, but he injured his knee during an action sequence last week. The doctor had reportedly advised him bed rest but John insisted on continuing with the shoot and that made things worse. So, he had to undergo a minor surgery to remove the blood clots that occurred.
Vipul Shah, who had also produced Force (2011), had revealed earlier to a leading daily, “We were shooting for an action sequence, which required John to break open a door. He managed to do so but injured his knee as he pushed it too hard in the proces. None of us ever imagined that something like this could happen. John was immediately rushed to the hospital where the blood clots that he had developed were removed."
John has been recovering ever since and today he posted a picture on Facebook as he revealed, “Thank you for all the well wishes! Getting better every day and will be back to the set soon hopefully!"
