Actor Ajith Kumar, who was last seen in the hit film Vedhalam, is teaming up once again with the director Siruthai Siva. However, a buzz that never seems to cease in Kollywood is the possible film of Ajith Kumar with gargantuan director Shankar.
Once again, rumours have taken root in Kollywood that director Shankar has completed a hardbound script for Ajith, which is tipped to be a high octane action thriller. According to Indiaglitz, sources reveal that the talks about the project has already been initiated from the director's side.
However, there aren't any confirmation from either side.
Meanwhile, Ajith Kumar's much-hyped and yet-untitled film with director Siruthai Siva, has gone on floors last week in Bulgaria.
Tipped to be a spy thriller, the film will predominantly be shot in Europe. Also, it is said that actor Bobby Simha is likely to play the baddie in the film. The film has music by Anirudh Ravichander, who is collaborating second time with Ajith Kumar after the commercial success of Vedhalam.
Director Shankar too, is busy shooting for his upcoming mega-budgeted film 2.0, the sequel to the blockbuster Tamil film Enthiran. Bankrolled by Lyca Productions, the film stars superstar Rajinikanth, Amy Jackson, Akshay Kumar and Sudhanshu Pandey in lead roles. The film is expected to hit the screens next year.
