Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu is not signing new films off late. What's more she has even walked out of a Tamil crime drama film Vada Chennai that will have Dhanush playing lead role. The actress even gave back advance amount recently to producers. Dhanush is producing the film in association with his director Vetrimaran and Lyca Productions.
Now, reports suggest that the makers are in talks with married actress Amala Paul and that she is likely to replace Samantha in the upcoming trilogy. If things go well, this will be second film for Amala Paul with hero Dhanush. The duo previously romanced in successful movie Raghuvaran B Tech.
Vada Chennai that will have music composed by Santhosh Narayanan also stars Andrea, SamuthiraKani, Karunas and Daniel Balaji in central roles. The film will showcase the horrific history of North Chennai. Production for the film began in last month.
On the other hand, Samantha is presently shooting for young tiger Jr NTR starrer Janatha Garage which is slated for release on August 12th. The actress has signed a film with her rumored boyfriend Naga Chaitanya. The film to be directed by Kalyan Krishna will go on floors later this year.
