Ram Charan's introduction scene in Govindudu Andari Vadele has been revealed. And yes, it's almost true as none other than Krishna Vamsi spilled the beans. According to Vamsi, Ram Charan will be introduced through a Rugby match in Hemel Hempstead in Hertfordshire in Eastern England. Charan is said to be a Rugby player and star in his team. In the film, Charan hails from England, hence, the movie is predominantly shot in the locales of UK.
We hear that around 25% of the film was shot in England. A Rugby match was shot at the Pennine Way Stadium and to add some authenticity original rugby player-Hemel skipper BJ Swindells was roped in. Before shooting in Hemel Hempstead, the unit shot action sequences at the Kingstone Press Championship. It also shot a game at Oxford between Oxford RL and Hemel Stags.
Buzz is director Krishna Vamsi is so excited about shooting in England and shooting rugby. Krishna Vamsi was quoted as saying, "Around 25% of the film is being shot in UK about how he spends his time, how he's living and studying. It's the first time I've shot rugby. I don't know much about it but have gathered some information for the film. I have done other sports -I don't think it's a challenge but it's kind of fun." Krishna Vamsi added, "Since this is the introduction of the hero - it will be quite long."
Ram Charan usually never misses to have a sports connection be it real or on reel, is at it again in GAV. Charan owns Hyderabad Polo and Riding Club team in real life and also fascinated in horse riding but now he veered towards Rugby in the film. Let's wait and see how Charan sizzled in Rugby in GAV. Stay tuned for more updates.
