In the wake of recent postponement of Rabhasa, Fans of NTR are very much dejected. Adding insult to injury, there is no proper time for the movie release until September 19th. However, movies like Aagadu and Govindhudu Andhari Vaadele are lined up then one after the other. Releasing then will get the film in to theaters problem. But movie releasing any time before September 19th is considered as release during the dull period.
While Rabhasa Producer Bellamkonda Suresh is in this confusion, he seems to be getting some threatening calls from fans of NTR in Rayalaseema. It is said that he is receiving some anonymous calls which say Bellamkonda's house will be bombed if the movie releases during unseason. The anonymous call demanded him to release the movie on September 19th. It is said that security outside Bellamkonda house and office in Hyderabad was beefed up. Bellamkonda is planning to lodge a police complaint just in case the caller tries to reach him once again. There are allegations that Bellamkonda is intentionally postponing Rabhasa to get his son's debut film, Alludu Seenu in as many as 50 days centers as possible.
NTR's last film, Ramayya Vasthavayya was a big dud and there is immense pressure on the actor to deliver with Rabhasa. Rabhasa is the 23rd movie in NTR's career. This is Santosh Srinivas' second film. His debut movie, Kandireega is the biggest hit in Ram's career then. Samantha and Praneetha are the heroines in this commercial entertainer. Thaman is composing music for NTR once again after Brindavanam, Baadshah and Ramayya Vasthavayya.
NTR himself crooned a song in the film which increased the expectations on the film.
