Senior actor-choreographer Mukkuraju, who is known for his blink-and-miss cameos, roles in Telugu films has breathed his last on Thursday morning. Mukkuraju had been facing health issues for a while. Mr Raju was said to be upset as he couldn't earn money though he got fame, said his close aides.
Mukkuraju, who acted in nearly 1000 films, was a regular face in R. Narayana Murthy's social dramas. He had also bagged national award for one of his roles. Not many know that Mukkuraju was multi-faceted as he had choreographed dances, composed fight scenes and even credited as writer for several films. Mukkuraju's original name was Sairaju Rajam Raju. He is survived by wife, two daughters and a son. His last rites will be performed in Cherukuwada village of Undi Mandal, West Godavari district.
