Five days before its release, Mahesh Babu's upcoming action entertainer, Aagadu has sparked a big row in Vijayawada. Trouble started brewing when police officials objected to a huge 90 feet cut-out of the actor which was erected by his fans. Apparently, they spent nearly three days to build the entire structure and once it was done, police officials, along with the municpal corporation department, began removing it citing that the fans didn't have the permission to build such a massive cut-out.
The police officials' allegations didn't go down well with the actor's fans who explained that they have been doing this every year and in turn they questioned the logic behind the police department's objection this year. In the midst of all this, a fan of Mahesh Babu got extremely upset and attempted suicide by jumping into a canal. He was later rescued by several others, who were present at the venue.
Later, members of Mahesh Babu's fans association requested the police officials permission to erect the cut-out and promised that they'll take it down after a week or so. The film starring Mahesh Babu and Tamannaah is slated for release on September 19 and Sreenu Vaitla has directed it.
