Jaya Janaki Nayaka - Star Performance
Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas tried to deliver his best in action and dances. His performance is good but he has to concentrate on his diction and also work on portraying emotions. He need to polish his dialogue delivery while delivering casual dialogues. Rakul Preet Singh plays his love interest, has done an outstanding job and she looks glamorous throughout the film, especially in the songs. Both Pragya and Rakul are glamorously depicted in the film. Sarath Kumar in the role of hero's father and Jagapathi Babu as Narayana Varma performed well. Catherine Tresa dazzles in a special song and she proves her dancing skill.
Jaya Janaki Nayaka - Technical Team
The film does have its drawbacks. The subject is old and predictable. There are a few boring scenes in the film that test the patience of the audiences. The songs are nice, well choreographed and also shot in beautiful locations, but seem to appear in the wrong places. Rakul and Pragya's glamour quotient may help the film. Devi Sri Prasad music elevates the story in many sequences. Cinematography by Rishi Panjabi needs applause. Editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is below par. The production Value is top notch.
Jaya Janaki Nayaka - Analysis
Jaya Janaki Nayaka second half has loads of action and ton of sentiment. Rakul did her part like in director's previous film, but needs a hero who can equally emote. Lot of blocks reminds us Boyapati's previous film. Overall Jaya Janaki Nayaka is just another routine movie which is a regular one. This movie caters to a section of audience who like mass movies. Very predictable story and Boyapati stirs the pot by introducing myriad characters. Rakul Preeth Singh's acting and Bellomkonda Sreenivas's dance and fighting scenes are the only plus in the movie.
