Happy Wedding - Star Performance
Niharika Konidela is beautiful in this film. She portrays confused girl’s role so naturally. Hero Sumanth Ashwin has improved in performance, dialogue delivery needs much more improvement. Artists Naresh, Murali Sharma, Sirivennela’s son Raja, pavitra lokesh, Indraja and Tulasi are decent in their roles.
Happy Wedding - Technical Team
Production values by UV creations are top notch and that is backed up by some awesome camerawork by Bal Reddy who does a superb job with the film’s visuals. Dialogues are quite meaningful and the styling done for both the actors is very good. Music by Shaktikanth Kartick is below par but Thaman’s background score lifts the film completely. Coming to the director Lakshman, he has done a decent job with the film. He chose a very contemporary subject which would relate to women more and added decent emotions and family drama. But his mistake lies in the manner in which he ends the film. After the heroine through so much and getting confused, she changes her mind just like that with one scene in the climax which looks a bit odd. The director should have also added good romance and some heartwarming moments between the lead pair so that the story would have had even good weight.
Happy Wedding - Analysis
On the whole, Happy Wedding is a passable family drama which showcases a contemporary theme which is synonymous with the current generation. The emotions work well but the film takes its own time to register. Regular audience will find it difficult to get connected as the film has a set up of urban relationships and bonding. Because of this, some might really like it or the others may disown it right away making this film a limited watch this weekend.
