When he grows up as an adult, Tej becomes a part of ‘crazy boys’ band run by another uncle (Prudhvi Raj). Nandini (Anupama Parameshwaran) comes from US on some purpose to India. She and Tej both happens to meet and they both fell in love after some incidents. In a mishap, Nandini’s memory get lost and she don’t remember a thing about Tej or anyone. How Tej struggled to get his love back with her memories? Is rest of the story.
Tej I Love You - Star Performance
Sai Dharam Tej, who has shown ease in mass roles, has attempted a class flick first time. He is Okay but doesn’t seem comfortable in lover role. If he wants to have a long innings in Tollywood, he really need to watch out his body. Anupama Parameshwaran is going great with her roles and she again did a fine job in the role of Nandini. Jaya Prakash is good and Prudhvi Raj, Viva Harsha and the friends gang tried to evoke few laughs. Anish Kuruvilla is fine as Nandini’s father. All other actors did okay job.
Tej I Love You - Technical Team
As said above, the music by Gopi Sundar is disappointing. Production values by K S Rama Rao are good as the film looks rich in every frame. The camera work is routine and showcases the film in the age-old style. Dialogues are okay and the styling done for Tej is good. Coming to the director Karunakaran, he has done a disappointing job with the film. His narration is jaded as all the emotions look fake. Even though he used to choose routine stories in his previous films, they at least had good music and chemistry between the lead pair. But the same is missing in Te I Love You completely.
Tej I Love You - Analysis
On the whole, Tej I Love You is the same old love story which Karunakaran has made many a time in the past. There is nothing new which this film showcases. Bad songs, lack of interesting romance and forced elements sidetrack the film. The only solace of the film is Sai Dharam Tej who proves that he can carry a love story with ease. Rest of elements are just about ordinary. Watch it only if you want to see Tej in a new avatar.
