Prime Minister Narendra Modi issued stern warning to party MPs during the parliamentary party meeting held on Tuesday. He asked MPs not to cross the 'Laxman Rekha' and its an indication that anyone willn't be tolerated.
The directions given by Modi include:
1) Restrain from remarks which give leverage to the Opposition
2) Adhere to the Party Line
3) Follow Government's ideology
BJP Leadership was embarrassed with controversial remarks of its MPs in the recent past. Union Minister Sadhavi Niranjan Jyoti used objectionable language during a rally. She asked voters if they wish to support the party run by Sons of Ram or that of Illegitimate. Another MP Sakshi Maharaj described Godse who took part in Mahatma Gandhi's assassination as 'Patriot'.
