Hyderabad : The Commissioner's Task Force, North Zone Team apprehended one accused who procured Counterfeit Indian Currency from Farakka , West Bengal through one agent Amarjith Singh N/o. Bihar State in order to hand over to one Abdul Nadeem @ Baba at Hyderabad for circulating in Hyderabad. Seized counterfeit Indian Currency of Rs. 2 Lakhs in denomination of Rs. 1000/- & 500/-
Details of accused:
1. Govind Kumar Singh, s/o Jayaram Singh, Age:18yrs, Occ: Petty Business N/o Kasgunj, Kasiram Nagar, Utterpradesh State R/o. Barath Nagar, Cream Bell company, Yerragadda,Sanath Nagar.
2. Abdul Nadeem @ Baba, age. 25 yrs, Occ. Transport Business, R/o. H.No. 12-2-422/116, Food World, Mehidipatnam, Hyderabad.
Details of the absconding accused:
Amarjith Singh N/o. Bihar State
1.Rs. 2,00,000/- Counterfeit Indian currency notes in denomination of Rs. 1,000/- ( One hundred notes) and Rs. 500/- ( Two hundred notes )
2.Two Mobile phones with sim cards.
3.One T shirt (in which the accused concealed the Counterfeit Indian currency)
4.One Travel bag
Facts of the Case:
On a tip of information, on 29-08-2014, the sleuths of Commissioner's Task Force North Zone team apprehended two accused persons Govind Kumar Singh & Abdul Nadeem at Auto stand, Opp Secunderabad Railway Station along with counterfeit Indian Currency Notes of Rs.2,00,000/- in denomination of Rs. 1,000/- & Rs. 500/- while exchanging in order to circulate in Hyderabad to gain easy money.
The accused Govind Kumar sing is a native of Uttar Pradesh State. He studied up to 5th class at his native. Two years back he came to Hyderabad and selling Ice Cream in Hyderabad and staying at Bharath Nagar, Yerragadda. Mean time one person by name Amarjith Kumar N/o. Bihar State, residing in the same locality became his friend. The accused Govind Kumar Singh informed about his financial problems and requested him to provide good job. On that Amarjith Kumar informed that Counterfeit Indian currency is available at New Farakka, West Bengal which is border area to Bangladesh and if he transport that from Farakka to Hyderabad he will give Rs. 5,000/- for one lakh and he took mobile number of Govind kumar Singh and also told that he was apprehended by Sanath Nagar Police in the month of February-2014. Hence he does not want to transport Counterfeit Indian Currency as police may recognize him. Few days back Amarjith contacted him over his phone and offered to transport Counterfeit Indian currency from Farakka to Hyderabad so as to hand over the same to Abdul Nadeem @ Baba at Hyderabad ( Friend of Amarjith Kumar ). Due to financial problems the accused Govind Kumar Singh agreed to his proposal. On his instructions on 26-08-2014 he reached to Farakka, West Bengal and the said Amarjith singh came to him and handed over Counterfeit Indian currency of Rs. 2,00,000/- in denomination of Rs. 1,000/- (one bundle containing one hundred notes) & Rs. 500/- notes ( containing two hundred notes ) with instructions to hand over the same to the accused Abdul Nadeem @ Baba at Hyderabad ( he is required to circulate in Hyderbad ) to gain profit. The accused concealed the Counterfeit Indian currency in his T-Shirt, folded it and kept it in his shoulder bag to divert the official checking while transporting. On 28-08-2014 accused Govind Kumar Singh reached Secunderabad Railway station from West Bengal and contacted Abdul Nadeem @ Baba over his phone number then he informed that due to urgent work he did not come to Secunderabad Railway Station and advised him to meet near Auto parking, Opp. Secunderabad Railway Station on 29.08.2014 and while exchanging Counterfeit Indian currency mean while apprehend them. Seized Counterfeit Indian Currency Rs. 2,00,000/- ( Two Lakhs ), Two mobile phones etc from their possession. In this case Amrjith kumar N/o. Bihar state at large.
The accused along with seized material handed over to SHO, Gopalpuram PS for taking necessary action U/s. 489 (A, B & C ) IPC and 120(B) IPC and appropriate section of law.
The arrest was made, under the supervision of Sri B. LIMBA REDDY, Dy. Commissioner of Police, Commissioner's Task Force, Hyderabad and by Sri A.P.Anand Kumar, Inspector of Police, Commissioners Task Force, North Zone, Hyd with the assistance of SIs Sri. M.Muthu Yadav, G.Naresh Kumar and the Staff of North Zone Team, Hyderabad.
