Arrangements for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the State have been completed, Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao has said. Addressing the media at Komatibanda near Gajwel on Friday, the Minister maintained that the officials have kept four helipads ready for the Prime Minister's visit, as he would be laying foundations for five developmental programs as part of his maiden itinerary in Telangana State.
During his trip to the State, Modi will formally launch the flagship program, Mission Bhagiratha, at Komatibanda in Medak district on August 7 at about 3.30 pm. Along with the Prime Minister, a total of 18 leaders and officials would occupy the dais during his public meeting and two more stages were set for others, Harish stated. Elaborate arrangements with complete security and facilities are being made, including seating for two lakh people, four approach roads and 200 temporary toilets on the occasion, the minister said.
Along with Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, Narendra Modi will dedicate to the nation the 1200 MW power plant and the Prime Minister will restart Ramagundam Fertilizer Factory and lay foundation for Kothapalli-Manoharabad railway line. Harish Rao said the youngest State of India needs Centre's cooperation for its rapid growth and development. “We are looking forward for the Prime Minister's visit to launch the prestigious piped drinking water program besides other developmental works, he said.
