Chandra Babu Naidu is leaving no brick unturned to project Visakhapatnam as the "Silicon Valley" of Andhra Pradesh and if all goes by Naidu's plan, it would also be referred as "Silicon Valley" of India in future.
Naidu on Monday vowed to make Vizag as the financial hub and IT hub of India. Speaking at the CEO Conclave meet, he said, "I aim to make Visakhapatnam country's financial hub and IT hub. AP will rise to a global level. I intend to create a Signature Tower at Madhurawada in Vizag. It will stand tall to symbolize the resurgence of IT in Andhra Pradesh."
Committed to develop Vizag on par with Silicon Valley in US, Naidu set target to beat Hyderabad. "It took nine years for me to bring glory to Hyderabad and make it a spot on the global map. I'm going to do the same with Vizag and AP in four years with good governance and transparent administration. I know how Google made it to th top and at what pace Google works and am ready to compete with Google in developing AP.
The state will grow and develop as fast as how Google as a company had grown." MNCs Google, Wipro, Tech Mahindra and several other firms have entered into an MOU with the AP government in the CEO conclave meet.
