With doubts still lingering about the proposed Intensive House Hold Survey of the Telangana government on August 19, the GHMC call centre is flooded with innumerable phone calls to clarify their doubts.
To give more clarity, GHMC commissioner Somesh Kumar said there was no need to submit any photocopies of any kind to the enumerators.
“People need not submit photocopies of any document to the enumerators. Showing the original ID cards to the enumerator is enough,” explained the commissioner.
In some areas like Kukatpally in Hyderabad, the enumerators went to some houses on Monday itself and asked them to submit the survey forms.
‘Sakshi’ office got several phone calls complaining that the enumerators were asking them the Xerox copies of each and every ID card and document.
In these situations, the statement of GHMC Commissioner assumes significance.
