Haryana: BJP national president Amit Shah will on Thursday flag off the 'Vijay Sankalp Yatra' in Haryana, formally kick-starting the party's poll campaign ahead of the crucial assembly elections in the state.
According to reports, Shah will flag off four rallies from Mahendragarh in Haryana.
The yatra will be led by state BJP president Ram Bilas Sharma.The Vijay Sankalp Yatra will cover areas such as Rewari, Gurgaon, Mewat, Faridabad and Palwal will be covered over the next 11 days.
The yatra aims to "expose" Bhupinder Singh Hooda government on several issues including corruption and nepotism in government jobs.
The party hopes that under the leadership of Amit Shah, who is credited with scripting the BJP's remarkable victory in Uttar Pradesh in the Lok Sabha polls, the party will make a comeback in Haryana.
Assembly polls in Haryana are due in October.
