One of the many expat success stories in the UAE, Mehta, a Harvard graduate, made his fortune in the petrochemical business, after he founded his company Petrochem in Dubai in 1995. Mehta had moved to Dubai at the age of 29 with no job or a business plan. Petrochem is today the one of the largest petrochemical distributors in the Middle East. His only son Rohan joined the family business in recent years and is expected to take on a larger role in the coming years. MBA in business from Northeastern University in Boston, he also owns the Raging Tiger events company, that organises concerts and balls across the UAE. The newlyweds are expected to settle in Dubai.
The bride, Roshni, was born and raised in London and owns a fashion company. Around 500 guests were invited to the wedding, and being put up in the finest hotels in the city.
