Actress-turned-Politician Jaya Bachchan responded on the controversy documentary featuring the interview of Delhi Gangrape Convict and his Lawyer. "Its insensitive, commercial and a rapist was made a celebrity as all of a sudden everyone keeps discussing about him. I feel very hurt, violated and insulted," says the MP.
When quizzed if she supports the call for imposing a ban on the documentary, Jaya Bachchan states she doesn't want to watch it to avoid herself being tortured, humiliated and spend sleepless nights.
On the other hand, The banned documentary 'India's Daughter' is a hit on Internet. Inspite of the ban, It was accessible online on several video sharing platforms. The documentary will be aired Today on BBC at 10 PM on the eve of International Women's Day.
