Pharmaceutical giant Dr Reddy's Laboratories on Wednesday signed an MoU with GITAM University to produce skilled human resource in the field of pharmaceutical chemistry. As part of MoU, the university will design a specialised curriculum in under graduate level as per the industry requirements.
The students from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States particularly who passed 10+2 level are eligible to take the admission into the programme. Dr Reddy's Laboratories will take up the selection process and also pay the course fee for all the selected students. University Institute of Science Chemistry Department is designing B Sc Chemistry course to train the students in Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad campuses.
Dr Reddy's Laboratories president and Global HR head (Primary Signatory) Dr S Chandrasekhar and GITAM University registrar Prof M Potharaju exchanged the MoU papers in the presence of GITAM president Dr MVVS Murthi, vice-president Prof M Gangadhara Rao, Vice-Chancellor Prof M S Prasada Rao and GITAM Institute of Science principal Prof N Lakshmana Das.
