Andhra Pradesh Agricultural Minister Prathipati Pulla Rao has stirred hornet's nest. Claiming that TDP will be in power for the next 20 years, Mr Pulla Rao said that Nara Lokesh will take over the reigns from his father Chandra Babu Naidu. Pulla Rao certified that Lokesh has "all the required qualities" to be the Chief Minister.
Pulla Rao assured that government is firm on waiving off agricultural loans and said that this is why it constituted Farmer Welfare Corporation. Pulla Rao said, "Though Centre and RBI are not in favour of loan waiver, AP government is trying hard and pulling out all the stops. We're leaving no stone unturned and we're hopeful of gathering funds for the loan waiver". However, Minister said that there is no "fault" in securitisation for next 10 years. Minister then said that he is confident of continuing in power for next 20 years.
