According to them the person nabbed person Selvarajan was a sri lankan Tamilian and even having indian passport.He was passing on the valuable information to his handlers in the Pakistani High Commission in Colombo.
Selvarajan is suspected to have collected information about defence installations in the south. According to officials he is taking photos and videos of vital security installations in Chennai and passing them on to his Pakistan-based handlers. He visited vital installations like the Coast Guard and Officers Training Academy (OTA) in Chennai under the guise of organising events.
Selvarajan also went to Visakhapatnam where he photographed and took videos of naval facilities.Selvarajan came to India in 2011 and then floated an event management company and began organising conferences and events. Selvarajan is believed to have gained access to sensitive areas such as the National Security Guard hub, Army officer training academy and Coast Guard facilities through an event management company that he opened in Chennai
