Prime Minister Narendra Modi, known to be a space buff, is slated to witness the historic lift-off of the ISRO's 230-ton PSLV C-23 rocket at the spaceport of Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh at 9.52 AM tomorrow. Prime Minister will be accompanied by AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Governor ESL Narasimhan besides top European scientists etc. Naidu is expected to have a detailed discussion with PM during the night halt on various incentives and central assistance for the programs of the TDP Government in Seemandhra region.
The indigenous PSLV C-23 rocket carry a French Earth observation satellite along with four others from Singapore, Canada and Germany will establish India's potential the global multi-billion dollar commercial space launch market."This launcher has been made in a record 50 days which is a milestone," says ISRO chairman K Radhakrishnan.
The PSLV mission will launch SPOT-6 and SPOT-7 advanced Earth observation satellite by Airbus Defence and Space,France. On his first visit to an Indian science facility, Prime Minister Modi will also be shown many novel Indian developments.
