Flipkart and its series of controversies seem to continue. After failing on its several 'Mega Discount' days and innumerable fails of server crashing on 'extravagant sale days' have embarrassed the e-commerce giant a lot in the recent past. An instance where the company has been caught cheating by hiking the price of a product and offering a discount had met the eyes of an alert customer.
Known to offer huge discounts to its customer on a regular basis, this instance of cheating comes as a big blow to company's claims. Trying to buy Canvera Wedges, the customer saw the actual MRP to be Rs 799 and the discounted price to be Rs 399. But on a closer look, it clearly shows that the sandals printed price is actually Rs 399.
