The huge damage done by Hudhud cyclone to Northern AP is still making people suffer a lot. The natural disaster has disrupted and destructed transport, electricity and communication leaving people helpless in all the ways.
The uprooted electricity poles and trees are in large number and many of them are still in the same condition, though the rescue and restoration operations by Government are going on war-foot. People at many areas in Visakhapatnam spent these three days in dark due to disrupted electricity supply.
Public formed long lines at petrol stations and students in hostels were made to starve for food. On top of it, many shopkeepers have doubled the prices of essential commodities taking the advantage of unavailability.
