The four line highway to the AP Capital Amaravati is estimated at a cost of 900 crores. In fact 900 crores for 20 kilometers is an alarmingly high. However, the cost of 900 crores is estimated for land pooling, a bridge and road construction.
Government is saying that capital construction works will pick up pace once this road comes up. But people are wondering that if that high budget is spent on 20 kilometers 4 way lane road then what could be estimation of many important constructions at Amaravati. Generally, the cost per kilometer of a National or a State highway standard four lane road is estimated at 10 crores maximum. Only AP government can justify 900 crore for 20 km road even if there is a land acquisition price in that.
