BCCI has accorded Test status to five new Stadiums in the country. Shashank Manohar felt the need for new venues as 12 Tests will be played in India next year. One of the five stadiums include the one in Visakhapatnam.
While Ravi Shastri was removed from IPL Governing Council due to conflict of interest as he is currently serving as Team India Director, Roger Binny was sacked as selector and MSK Prasad (AP Cricketer) replaced him in the selection panel.
