We've heard a couple of rumors recently about potential rebrandings at Microsoft. We've heard that the Surface name might not be with us for much longer, and also that the Nokia Lumia range could be gaining a new moniker. A new leaked image appears to depict a Lumia 830 and the back is adorned with the words "Nokia by Microsoft".
Microsoft's acquisition of the Finnish handset manufacturer has rumbled on for quite some time now, and there have been questions about how branding will be handled. If this image is to be believed, it would appear that a decision has indeed been made -- and the Lumia 830 could be the first Nokia by Microsoft device.
The images, which appeared on the Chinese search engine Baidu, don't give too much away, but they do show that the handset has a 13 MP PureView camera with the familiar Zeiss lens.
This is not the first time we have seen a leaked image of the Lumia 830. Just a few days ago, Evleaks gave us a sneaky look at what we can expect from the Windows Phone handset, but details are still a little thin on the ground.
Do you think the new branding is a step in the right direction?
